Video games are always a good moment, and something we require during our COVID lockdown. The only drawback Macs have, however, is performance — your typical gaming PC has much greater power and, consequently, much better gameplay. Step 1 – Download & install RetroArch
RetroArch is an open-source, free software that runs RetroPie or Recalbox. RetroArch can be installed on nearly everything, but we’ll install it on our Windows PC. It’s easy to install, and there’s no need for fuss.
Step 2: Install the emulator
After RetroArch is installed and opened, you can go to the menu item:

Patching ROMs to Create ROM Hacks
Patching hacks to ROMs is an integral aspect of the retro gaming scene these days. The legendary Super Mario World hackers Juz Cook Barbarousking, JuzCook, and JuzCook make use of Lunar Magic for amazing new “Kaizos” experiences. I really enjoy these hacks since they take something that I enjoyed as a kid and inject new life into them. These hacks will be posted to SMWCentral when they are complete. The software required to perform the patching for Windows is Floating IPS. Floating IPS makes it very simple.
